Team leader of the EU funded project EU-GCC Dialogue on Economic Diversification
Stefan Kraxner is the team leader of the EU funded project “EU-GCC Dialogue on Economic Diversification”.
Prior to joining the EU project, Stefan was the Competitiveness Advisor of the Competitiveness Office of Abu Dhabi – Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development – with responsibility for removing existing challenges, that present barriers to all enterprises in order to enhance the competitiveness environment for economic development and growth under the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030.
Stefan Kraxner worked in strategy development & execution for national and international economic development as well as formulating and implementing coherent strategies, designing and executing transformation programs at several companies and organizations, including Booz&Co (Lead Associate), State Ministry of Economic and Labor Affairs (Vice Head of Foreign Trade Department, Deputy Press Officer and Associate to the Minister) and PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consulting Service (Team Lead).
Notable is his two terms election as a Member of State Parliament (MP) as well as deputy member in the Committee of the Regions (Brussels, Belgium).
Stefan Kraxner is a Fellow of the German Marshall Fund of the United States and Affiliate of the Center for Competitiveness, University of Fribourg, Switzerland
Mr. Kraxner holds a master´s degree in business administration from the University of Lüneburg (Germany) 1999 and obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate, by Project Management Institute (PMI), U.S.A. in 2011.
